摘要

Abstract

Based on the characteristics of the detecting target, four improved image processing algorithms are presented as follows: image binarization, region growing, mathematical morphology algorithm, and skeleton extraction algorithm.The micro crack image collected by SEM was firstly processed by means of the aforementioned image processing algorithms to extract and calculate the length and the width of the crack;Then, the accuracy of the method was validated by comparing the calculated results and the measured results.The method provides a new way to process the crack image of the carbon fiber reinforced aluminum matrix composites.
