Abstract
Objective:To analyze the therapeutic effect and mechanism of Peiben Zhibi Decoction combined with methotrexate in rheumatoid arthritis.Methods:110patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) were randomly divided into observation group and controlled group.The observation group was treated with Peiben Zhibi Decoction combined with methotrexate while the controlled group was treated with methotrexate alone.The clinical efficacy,changes of symptoms and signs before and after treatment and changes of inflammation factors were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate in the observation group (87.27％) was significantly higher than that in the controlled group (67.27％) (P ＜ 0.05);After treatment,the degree of joint pain and joint tenderness,duration of morning stiffness,number of swelling joints,levels of IL-6,TNF-α,CRP,RF and ESR were significantly decreased (P ＜ 0.05),and the above indexes in the observation group were significantly better than those in the controlled group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of Peiben Zhibi Decoction combined with methotrexate in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis is clear,and it can quickly improve the clinical symptoms and signs,which may be related to its anti-inflammatory effect.关键词
