摘要

Abstract

Functional materials diatomite was added into polyvinyl chloride (PVC) based wood-plastic composites (WPC),and the functional wood plastic composites were prepared by melt extrusion blending.The effects of diatomite content on mechanical properties and adsorption capacity for formaldehyde of the composites were investigated.The results show that:the mechanical properties of the composites can be improved by adding 5 phr of diatomite,but the mechanical properties show a downward trend when the amount of diatomite is increased.Diatomite can improve the formaldehyde adsorption capacity of composite materials.When the amount of diatomite is 25 phr,after 12 h adsorption,the amount of formaldehyde absorbed by the composite increases by 88.4% compared with that of the composite without adding diatomite,and the amount of formaldehyde adsorbed on the composite increases with the increase of the amount of diatomite.
