Abstract
CaO-ZnO solid base catalysts were prepared by the sol-gel method and used in the transesterification of soybean oil with methanol. The catalysts and their precursor were characterized by means of SEM,TG and XRD. The effects of Ca/Zn molar ratio,calcination temperature and calcination time on the performances of the catalysts were investigated. The conditions of the transesterification were optimized. The results showed that the large pores in the catalysts were favorable to the oil molecules entering,so the active sites could be utilized effectively. The suitable conditions for the catalyst preparation were as follows Ca/Zn molar ratio 1.0,calcination temperature 750℃ and calcination time 4 h. The yield of glycerol in the transesterification over the above catalyst was more than 90% under the conditions of methanol/oil molar ratio 30,catalyst/oil mass ratio 0.06,reaction temperature 70℃and reaction time 90 min. After it was reused 5 times,the catalytic performance of the catalyst was not decreased evidently.关键词
