Capability and mechanism of hydrophobic associating polymers in transmission and migration
摘要
Abstract
Aimed at the poor compatibility between the molecular coil dimension of hydrophobic associating polymers and the pore size of porous media in oil reservoir,with β-cyclodextrin as the regulator for the association degree of hydrophobic associating polymers,the capability of the hydrophobic associating polymers in transmission and migration was investigated and the mechanism was analyzed. It was showed that the hydrophobic associating polymer solutions were mostly detained in the front area of rock core with poor transmission and migration capability.β-cyclodextrin can improve the transmission and migration capability of the hydrophobic associating polymers,and its addition is beneficial to the distribution of the polymers in porous media. Meanwhile,with increasing the β-cyclodextrin content,the hydrophobic association between the molecular chains weakened,the molecular coil dimension decreased,and the transmission and migration capability were enhanced.关键词
