The expression of Dicer1 in the cervical cancer and normal cervical epithelial tissues

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the expression of Dicer1 in normal cervix,precancerous cervical lesions and cervical cancer,and investigate the significance of Dicer1 expression in the development of cervical cancer.Methods:The mRNA and protein expression of Dicer1 in cervical cancer cells were analyzed by RT-PCR and Western blot,respectively.The expression of Dicer1 in cervical cancer tissues and normal cervical epithelial tissues was detected by IHC,the levels of Dicer1 expression were evaluated by pathologist visual scoring.Results:The Dicer1 expression in cervical cancer and precancerous cervical cells were up-regulated compared with the End1/E6E7 cells.In accordance with cell lines,the Dicer1 was also overexpressed in cervical lesions tissues.Furthermore,the expression of Dicer1 was decreased gradually by the pathological grades.Conclusion:The expression of Dicer1 in cervical lesions was associated with the pathological grades.The Dicer1 expression in cervical cancer may contribute to tumor initiation and progression.关键词
