摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the protective effects of trimetazidine on kidney of senile patients with chronic cardiac failure (CHF).Methods A total of 84 senile patients with CHF were randomly divided into a study group and a control group (n =42,respectively).The two groups were treated with conventional therapy and the study group additionally with trimetazidine by oral administration. The changes in the heart function indexes [left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),left ventricular end diastolic dimension (LVEDD) and left ventricular end systolic dimension (LVESD)],renal function indexes [serum creatinine (SCr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN)] and renal injury markers [microalbuminuria (MA),β2-microglobulin (β2-MG) and retinol conjugated protein (RBP)] before and after the treatment between the two groups were compared. Results After 12 weeks of treatment, the LVEF in the two groups increased significantly, but LVEDD and LVESD decreased significantly;the improvement in the study group was better than that in the control group (P < 0.05);After 12 weeks of treatment, the levels of the above-mentioned renal function indexes and renal injury markers in the study group were much lower than those before the treatment (P < 0.05),while those in the control group had no significant change (P > 0.05).Conclusion The application of trimetazidine in the clinical treatment of CHF in senile patients can effectively improve their heart function, has certain protective effects on their renal function, and benefits the prognosis.关键词
