Experimental investigation of anomalous Doppler resonance of runaway electrons with instability waves

Abstract
In terms of electron cyclotron radiation and related diagnosis, the anomalous Doppler resonance of runaway electrons with instability waves has been investigated in the HL-2A tokamak.The results show that the runaway electron beam instability can be suppressed by increasing plasma density, but the second anomalous Doppler resonance can be excited when decreasing the plasma density.Through statistical methods, 0.17-0.54 regions of anomalous Doppler resonance threshold are found.This resonance interaction causes scattering of the runaway electrons in velocity space and the energy transfer from parallel to perpendicular motion occurs.This resonance interaction creates an upper bound on the runaway energy and provides a runaway energy control scenario.关键词
