Abstract
AIM To evaluate the prophylactic effects and safety of intravenous low dose of hydromorphone on postoperative shivering after general anesthesia.METHODS Totally 60 patients with ASA Ⅰ-Ⅱ,aged from 27 to 52 years old,scheduled for elective laparoscopic myomectomy under general anesthesia were divided into group C and group H randomly,each group of 30 patients.Group H received hydromorphone 4 μg · kg-1 (diluted to 5 mL),while group C received saline 5 mL intravenously 30 min before the end of surgery.Tympanic temperatures were determined at different times before and after anesthesia.The incidence of shivering and adverse drug reactions were recorded during postoperative period.RESULTS Tympanic temperatures decreased significantly in both groups compared to the baseline from the end of induction to 30 min after extubation,but there were no significant differences in tympanic temperatures between the 2 groups.The incidence of shivering was reduced greatly in group H (13.3％)compared to group C(46.7％)(P ＜0.05).The difference of incidence of adverse drug reactions between the 2 groups were not significant.CONCLUSION Intravenous injection of low dose of hydromorphone can safely and effectively prevent the occurrence of shivering in patients undergoing laparoscopic myomectomy surgery关键词
