特高压交流和直流输电系统可靠性与经济性比较
Comparison of Reliability and Economy Between UHVAC and UHVDC Transmission Systems

Abstract
This paper focuses on quantitative analysis and comparison of reliability and economy between UHVAC and UHVDC transmission systems.Firstly,UHVAC and UHVDC are divided into different subsystems respectively.Based on state enumeration method,reliability evaluation model for each subsystem is built considering influence of standby components,etc.Then,multi-state reliability evaluation models for UHVAC and UHVDC are formed by combining failure logic relationships among subsystems with state enumeration method.Economy assessment model for both systems is built considering investment,operation and maintenance,transmission losses and interruption costs.Finally,a case study is conducted to analyze and compare reliability and economy of the two systems.Results show that forced energy unavailability index of UHVAC is less than that of UHVDC in the same transmission distance.Equivalent outage frequency of UHVAC is more than that of UHVDC when transmission distance exceeds 1300 km.In case of interruption cost ignored,UHVAC economy is better than that of UHVDC when transmission distance is less than 1300 km,otherwise UHVDC is better.In a reasonable range of transmission distance,UHVAC is more economical than UHVDC with interruption cost included.关键词
