摘要

Abstract

Ba2B2O5:Ce3+,Dy3+ phosphor was synthesizedvia a high-temperature solid state method, and the luminescence properties and mechanism were investigated. The results show that there is no long persistent luminescence in Dy3+ singe-doped Ba2B2O5. For Ce3+/Dy3+ co-doped in Ba2B2O5, the yellow-green long persistent luminescence phenomenon appears although the phosphor still emits white light, which may originate from the direct recombination of the conduction electrons released from traps with the emission centers of Dy3+. The results obtained will be useful for the development of long afterglow materials.
