Gd掺杂锐钛矿型TiO2光催化剂的制备及降解苯甲羟肟酸活性
Preparation and Degradation Activity for Benzohydroxamic Acid of Gd-doped Anatase TiO2 Photocatalysts

Abstract
TiO2:x%Gd powder with different doping Gd amounts were prepared by a sol?gel method at different calcination temperatures. The structure and physicochemical properties were characterized. As a typical beneficiation reagent, benzohydroxamic acid was used to examine the photodegradation activity of Gd-doped TiO2. The results indicate that the Gd-doped TiO2 possesses a greater light absorption intensity, smaller particle size and larger specific surface area, compared to pure TiO2. TiO2:0.70%Gd powder calcined at 500℃ shows the highest photocatalytic activity to benzohydroxamic acid. After 120 min irradiation under 300 W mercury lamps at room temperature, the removal efficiency and the total organic carbon (TOC) removal rate are 94.7% and 79.4% respectively. It is indicated that most of the benzohydroxamic acid could transform into small molecule organic substances and inorganic materials CO2 and NO3-, based on the analysis of TOC instrument and ion chromatography. In addition, the TiO2:0.70%Gd still has a great photocatalytic activity for the photodegradation of benzohydroxamic acid after 4-times recycling, showing the stability of Gd-doped TiO2.关键词
