摘要

Abstract

Graphitic carbon nitride material (g-C3N4) with a high visble-light response was prepared by a microwave method, and the crystal phases, composition and chemical states of the material were characterized by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, respectively. The light absorption and photocatalytic activity of g-C3N4, and photocatalystic degradation of phenol in wastewater were also investigated. The results indicate that g-C3N4 prepared by the microwave method, has a complete layered crystal structure, good adsorptive performance, and high photocatalytic activity. The visible light absorption range can extend to 550nm, and the degradation rate of phenol in wastewater is 75.4%. The greater degradation rate of up to 92.9% can be obtained after H2O2 is added due to the production of more·OH.
