Abstract
Based on the chemical composition, phase ingredients, and particle size distribution of calcium silicate slag, the feasibility of using calcium silicate slag for flue gas desulfurization was analyzed.The desulfurization capability of calcium silicate slag was tested on a bench-scale simulation apparatus.The result shows that the calcium silicate slag contains large amounts of alkaline oxide, and its particle size distribution satisfies the demands of desulfurization.Its slurry has high desulfurization efficiency and lasts a long time.When the slurry concentration increased from 1% to 7%, the duration of 100% desulfurization efficiency increased from 275 min to 1900 min.Within a certain density range, calcium silicate slag shows good adaptability to variation in the SO2 concentration in flue gas.The calcium silicate slag also showed better desulfurization performance than limestone under the same experimental conditions;so it could be used for flue gas desulfurization.关键词
