摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate effect of gap on aerodynamics of wind turbine airfoil with discrete trailing-edge-flaps(DTEF),the wind turbine airfoil S809 was selected as the research object,then the structure of S809 airfoil model with DTEF and airfoil model with integrated trailing edge flap(ITEF) was designed and the geometry model was established.The gap between the main body and TEF of the model was selected as uniform gap structure.In order to reduce effect of gap on aerodynamics of wind turbine airfoil,the gap was selected as 1‰c.The aerodynamic performance of airfoil with 10% chord length trailing edge flaps deflected 10°angle under different attack of angle was calculated separately by computational fluid dynamics method(CFD).The calculated results show that pressure coefficient distribution curves and pressure contour of airfoil model with gap is consistent with the integrated airfoil,and there are some flow flowing through the gap from pressure surface to suction surface.Compared with integrated airfoil,the lifting coefficient of airfoil model with gap is 1% lower than of integrated airfoil,the gap between the main body and trailing edge flap has little impact on airfoil aerodynamic performance,and the effect of the gap can be neglected in the aerodynamics performance analysis.
