Development Difference between Professional Master Degree and Academic Master Degree in Nursing:A Qualitative Research
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the development difference between professional master degree and academic master degree in nursing and to provide reference for the development of advanced nursing talents. Methods With phenomenological method, a semi-structured interview was conducted among 24 nursing postgraduate students, nursing postgraduates, supervisor of nursing postgraduates and leaders of nursing school then the themes of the interview were extracted. Results Four themes were extracted in terms of the development difference of professional master degree and academic master degree in nursing including similar requirement in theoretical knowledge, difference in the capacity for scientific research and clinical competence;less clinical practice time for academic master degree in nursing and higher requirement of thesis for academic master degree. Conclusion Since the development of professional master degree and academic master degree in nursing in our country is still in its initial stage, it is necessary to establish standardized and authorized development program and evaluation system to development advanced nursing talents.关键词
