摘要

Abstract

The plant growth and activities of antioxidant enzyme system of the seedlings of cucumber grown in a multilayer seedling culturing system of LED light source were characterized.The results showed that extra light illumination could significantly improve plant growth and dry mass with the increase of light.With the increased height of light,the activities of super oxidase (SOD),APX-POD (peroxidase),catalase (CAT) first increased,and then decreased.As compared to the seedlings without extra LED light illumination,when the LED light at the 15 cm of height,the dry mass of cucumber seedlings increased by 69.9%.The root surface area and the root volume increased by 38.8% and 98.7% respectively,which was the best.
