Abstract

This study was to establish a method for the determination of fosthiazate residues in banana by ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS).According to the dispersive solid phase extraction method,banana samples were extracted by acetonitrile,purified by PSA+C18 and analyzed by UPLC-MS/MS under the multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode.The average recovery range was from 94.3%-107.5% with the relative standard deviations (RSD) between 7.9%-11.0% when the fortified concentrations was 0.01-1.0 mg/kg,using external standard method for quantitative analysis.The limits of detection was 0.001 μg/mL for the fosthiazate residues in banana,and the limits of quantification was 0.005 mg/kg.This method is simple,accurate,reproducible and solvent saving,which is suitable for the determination of the fosthiazate residues in banana samples.
