Abstract
Objective:To observe the effects of asthma-relieving and middle energizer-regulating acupuncture on improving the treatment of acute exacerbation chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD) complicat-ed with type 2 respiratory failure by non-invasive ventilation and on the complications. Methods:By the ran-dom number table method,60 AECOPD patients complicated with type 2 respiratory failure were divided into the treatment group and the control group,with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated by conventional western medicine and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation treatment. The treatment group , besides the treatments of the control group ,was treated by asthma-relieving and middle energizer-regulating acupuncture. The two groups were observed and compared from the following aspects:clinical signs,indicators of blood gas analysis,indicators of pulmonary fuction,average duration,man-machine synchronous rate,trachea cannula rate and complications. Results:①After 24-hour and 72-hour treatment,the blood gas analysis of the two groups were better than those before treatment and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Furthermore,the improvements of the treatment group were more obvious than those of the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05 or P<0.01). ②After treatment,compared with those before treatment,the indicators of pulmonary function of the two groups were improved and the differ-ence was statistically significant (P<0.01). The im-provements of the treatment group were more obvi ous than those of the control group,and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05 or P<0.01).③On improving the complications,average duration of ventilation,trachea cannula rate and man-machine syn-chronous rate,the treatment group was better than the control group,and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.01). Conclusion:Asthma-relieving and middle energizer-regulating acupuncture can improve the curative efficacy of non-invasive ventilation on treating AECOPD complicated with type 2 respiratory failure , reduce the occurrence of complications associated with ventilator and relieve the sufferings and economical burden of the patients.关键词
