AN EXPLICIT FORMULA FOR THE FOURTH MOMENT OF TWO-TERM EXPONENTIAL SUMS

Abstract
The fourth power mean of two-term exponential sums is studied in this paper. By elementary and algebraic methods, an explicit computation formula and a transform formula are proposed, which extend the original research results and discover the essential relation between fourth moment and congruence equations.关键词
