摘要

Abstract

Oxalic ester is an intermediate of coal-to-glycol, which is usually synthesized by using supported palladium catalysts to catalyze the gas-phase coupling of carbon monoxide, and the supports of catalyst has a great influence on its catalytic performance. In this paper, the research progress of the supports for the palladium-based catalysts used in the this reaction system in recent years is reviewed. The catalytic performances of the catalysts prepared by different supports are introduced. The structural characteristics and the advantages and disadvantages of the catalysts are summarized. The effects of different α-Al2O3 supports on the catalytic activity of palladium catalyst were discussed from the pore structure, support modification, impurities, etc. The future research direction of oxalic ester synthesis catalyst supports was prospected.
