摘要

Abstract

In an axial magnetic field (AMF) which is vertical to the plane of the fiber coil,a depolarized fiber optic gyro (D-FOG) takes on an axial magnetic drift.This drift is linearly related to the intensity of AMF BA,the length of the fiber L,the radius of the fiber coil r and the light wavelength λ.When a D-FOG is manufactured completely,this drift only displays a linear correlation with the AMF.A real time compensation model is established to eliminate the drift and the experimental results show that the axial magnetic sensitivity of the D-FOG decreased from 0.49 (°)/h/G to 0.008 (°)/h/G in 12 G AMF with two orders of magnitude decrease.
