摘要

Abstract

Optimal polarization is a valid approach to increase stealth target radar cross section (RCS) and improve the detection probability of stealth target.The inherent law of the target RCS and the polarization mode of the radar emitter are studied,which shows that the RCS change track is a cosine curve.A new method for extracting the optimal emission polarization is proposed.The target dynamic RCS under different polarization is simulated and compared,and the polarization gain for radar target de tection is studied by using the Swerling I detection model.The simulation results show that using optimal polarization brings 30 dB gain of RCS and 0.5 gain of detection probability.The simulation results also demonstrated the effectiveness and feasibility of the method to extract optimal polarization.
