Effect of Negotiable Fate on Subjective Well-being: The Mediating Role of Meaning in Life
摘要
Abstract
Objective:This study aimed to explore the effect of negotiable fate on subjective well-being and the mediating role of meaning in life between the relationship.Methods:578 college students in three universities completed negotiable fate scale,meaning in life scale and subjective well-being scale.Results:①Negotiable fate was positively correlated with subjective well-being(r=-0.36,P＜0.001),and the presence of meaning(r=-0.40,P＜0.001).The presence of meaning was positively correlated with subjective well-being(r=-0.30,P＜0.001).②Regression analysis showed that the mediating effect of the presence of meaning between negotiable fate and subjective well-being was significant.Conclusion:Negotiable fate may promote subjective well-being in college students,and the presence of meaning serves as a partial mediating role between negotiable fate and subjective well-being.关键词
