Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression and effect of ΔNp63 and NF-κB in patients with colon cancer.Methods The expressions of ΔNp63 and NF-κB in patients with colon cancer were detected by immunohistochemical method.The mRNA and protein expressed by ANp63 and NF-κB were detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blot.The expression of Caspase-3 in apoptotic cells was detected by Caspase-3 activity assay kit.Results Compared with the control group,the level of protein expressed by ANp63 rose by 35.57％ and the level of protein expressed by NF-κB rose by 58.93％,the difference was statistically significant (P＜ 0.05).The mRNA and protein expressed by ΔNp63 and NF-κB were obviously up-regulated,the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).The activity of Caspase-3 in the colon cancer group was obviously increased,the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The expressions of ΔNp63 and NF-κB in colon cancer patients are over-expressed,and the over-expressed ANp63 and NF-κB may play important roles in the development and progression of colon cancer.关键词
