Abstract
Percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy (PTED) is one of the most representative spine minimally invasive techniques.At the same time,its training is also an important and difficult task in spine surgery teaching.The traditional teaching of PTED is often based on the use of corpse specimens,teaching model of the normal structure,and explanation of real cases during surgery.However,scarcity of specimens and normal models cannot reveal the status of spine diseases objectively.Also,students lack intuitive observation and repeated operational opportunities,which affects the quality of PTED teaching.The appearance of 3D printing technology has brought new opportunities to medical education.This paper introduces the present situation of 3 D printing technology applied in clinical teaching,especially its advantages in PTED teaching.It also discusses the application prospect of the technology in medical education.关键词
