摘要

Abstract

As a mechanoluminescence(ML)material,SrAl2O4:(Eu2+,Dy3+)has attracted much attention owing to its strong ML intensity.However,the ML intensity of SrAl2O4:(Eu2+,Dy3+)decreases with the decay time,which hinders its practical application for stress sensing.To solve this problem,a ball impact technique was employed to study the ML property of SrAl2O4:(Eu2+,Dy3+)under background lightillumination in this paper.Compared with ML without background illumination,the ML intensity of SrAl2O4:(Eu2+,Dy3+)irradiated by 365 nm UV-light is notaffected by the decay time,and the intensity and sensitivity of ML are improved,which can promote the application of SrAl2O4:(Eu2+,Dy3+)in the field of impact sensing.
