摘要

Abstract

The high-temperature carbonization process for preparation of TiC was researched.The raw material was the Ti-bearing BF slag of Pangang.On the basis of analysis of mineral phase composition of the slag and the thermodynamics principle of high-temperature carbonization process, the effect of particle size of slag, the ratio of slag to pulverized coal, carbonization temperature on TiO2 carbonization reaction were studied and the optimizing operating parameters were obtained.The results show that: TiO2 carbonation rate rises with the decrease of particle size of slag, the reduction of the ratio of slag to pulverized coal and the rise of temperature.The optimizing operating parameters are as follows: the size of blast furnace slag is below 200 mesh.The ratio of pulverized coal to slag is 0.6.Carbonization temperature is 1 450 ℃.
