The Energy Tracking Control Strategy for Direct Drive Wave Energy Generation

Abstract
As the output power of direct drive wave energy generation can fluctuate widely and the linear permanent magnet generator is always moving repeatedly, an energy tracking control strategy is proposed based on the method for judging the moving direction of the translator of the linear permanent magnet generator. Firstly, the simulation model of the linear permanent magnet generator is established according to the mathematical model, and the tubular linear permanent magnet generator is designed based on the simulation results. Then the energy tracking control strategy is proposed and the direct drive wave energy system simulation system is designed. In addition, a hardware platform of the direct-driven wave energy generation is established based on the tubular linear permanent magnet generator. Finally, the simulation and experimental results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the method for judging the movement direction of the translator and the energy tracking control strategy.关键词
