摘要

Abstract

In order to improve the accuracy of fast positioning traffic signs, through the fusion of the complex linear information and color information in a scene, a fast positioning method based on linear envelope was proposed.The method uses color information and statistical line information to obtain the target candidate region for coarse positioning of traffic signs, and then, uses morphological operations to obtain regional connectivity, and uses the traffic sign aspect ratio and the void information to position the traffic signs from the target candidate region.The experimental results show that the proposed method can improve the accuracy of the traffic sign positioning in complex backgrounds like night.
