摘要

Abstract

In order to further improve the usage value and economic benefit of coiled tubing in oil field,a kind of all-position automatic butt welding process(automatic TIG welding) was designed.By using this welding technology to conduct pipe-pipe butt welding for Φ38.1 mm × 3.4 mm CT80 coiled tubing,and the strength of the welded joint,plasticity,hardness,and fatigue life were tested.Test results showed that for the coiled tubing pipe-pipe butt welding joint obtained by this welding technology,the inside and outside welds are well formed,the weld joints possess good plasticity and strong ability to resist bending deformation,can meet usage requirements in working site.
