摘要

Abstract

As the widely used chlorine flame retardant,tetrachlorobisphenol-A (TCBPA)is released into the environment and causes harm to human during the processes of transportation,using and treatment.The properties and preparation methods of TCBPA were introduced.The environment distribution and toxicity of it were stated.The research progresses on degradation of TCBPA were reviewed.The future developing trends in this research field were prospected.It was pointed that:The mechanism and molecular basis of microbial degradation of TCBPA should be further studied,and other degradation technologies such as photocatalysis and advanced oxidation should be introduced;The development of new environmental-friendly flame retardants is an essential solution.
