Abstract

The secondary effluent of papermaking wastewater was treated in a Fenton fluidized bed-ceramic membrane reactor.The mechanism of membrane fouling was researched and the cleaning regeneration scheme was put forward.The removal rate of dissolved organic carbon and chroma of the treated wastewater was 84.2% and 94.1% respectively.The calculation results according to the Darcy's low-based model showed that the filtration resistance of cake layer was the main resistance,which was about 62.1% of the total resistance;Suspended solids,as the main pollutant in the cake layer,accounted for 75.4% of the total solids in the cake layer;Hydrophobic organics were the main dissolving organic pollutants in cake layer,and hydrophilic organics caused more pore blockages;Humic acids had more effects on cake layer forming and pore blockage,and proteins caused pore blockage more often than polysaccharides.The cleaning effect of fouled membrane by HNO3 was the best,and the membrane flux recovery rate was 73.6% when HNO3 mass fraction was 1.00% and reaction time was 15 min.
