针刺治疗周围性面瘫耳后疼痛33例
Thirty-three Cases of Acupuncture Therapy in Improving Pain Behind the Ear due to Peripheral Facial Paralysis

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of acupuncture therapy in improving pain behind the ear due to peripheral facial paralysis.Methods:Sixty-two patients with peripheral facial paralysis were divided into pain group and non pain group according to whether or not there was pain behind the ear,with 33and 29 cases respectively in each group.All the patients were treated with acupuncture,then the difference in curative effect after the first and the second course were observed.Results:After a course of treatment,the improvement of the patients with peripheral facial paralysis but without ear pain behind the ear was better than that of the ones with ear pain behind the ear due to peripheral facial paralysis(P ＜ 0.05).After two courses of treatment,the improvement of the patients with peripheral facial paralysis but without ear pain behind the ear was significantly better than that of the ones with ear pain behind the ear due to peripheral facial paralysis (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:In order to improve the quality of life of the patients with peripheral facial paralysis,the symptoms of the ear pain in the acute stage should be treated as early as possible to reduce the sequelae of the patients.关键词
