Construction and Management of Marine Protected Areas in the US and the Potential Opportunities for Sino-US Cooperation
摘要
Abstract
This paper introduced the management model of marine protected areas of the US,on the institutional framework,site planning,monitoring and evaluation,taking the main categories of marine protected areas in the US,namely,marine sanctuaries and marine protection work in California.Based on the reality of China's marine protected areas and the common interests and aspirations of both China and the US,a nationwide institutional framework will be established to improve the scientific site selection and rational planning,the monitoring and evaluation system of marine protected areas,and the dialogue mechanism,etc.,to explore Sino-US cooperation in the field of marine protected areas of the potential opportunities for cooperation,so as to promote the construction of marine protected areas and management development.关键词
