Effect of Case Management Model on Strengths Perspective on Rehabilitation of Schizophrenia in Community

Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of case management model on the rehabilitation of schizophrenia in community.Methods:One hundred and sixty community schizophrenia were randomly divided into control group(80 cases)and study group(80 cases).The patients in the study group were intervened by case management model on strengths perspective.Patients in the control group received routine follow-up service.Using social support revalued scale,self-esteem scale,the Schizophrenia Quality of Life Scale,Insight and Treatment Attitude Questionnaire,the Personal and Social Performance Scale,Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale for clinical evaluation.Results:Setting baseline and intervention after six months as the observation point,the results showed that there was no significant clinic performance difference between the two groups in the baseline.After intervention,the scores of ITAQ and social support in the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group(t =3.228,2.451;P ＜0.05).The score of symptom scale was significantly lower in the study group than in the control group (t =-3.528,P ＜0.05).Conclusion:Case management on strengths perspective can improve the patient's insight and treatment attitude,enhance their social support system,then improve the patient's mental symptoms.This model is benefit for the rehabilitation of schizophrenia in community.Prolonging the observation time may have more effects.关键词
