Static loading test and shear strength calculation of assembled frame connections of partially encased composite structures
摘要
Abstract
Partially encased composite structure (PECS) has advantages in pre-fabricating and easy installing on construction site.The constructional detailing study on the beam-column connections was conducted.By arrangement of separating plates in the joint zone,the concrete casting work on site can be minimized.The extended end plate enable the connection to resist positive and negative moments of the beam ends.In addition,the improvement of link shapes provides more effective constrains for flanges to prevent local buckling.Two specimens were designed and static loading tests were carried out to investigate the failure mode,shear resistance and deformability of the connection.It is shown that the ultimate capacity dose not decrease during the whole test,and the connection possesses high ductility.Based on reasonable hypothesis,a theoretical model for calculation of the connection shear strength was proposed,showing satisfactory agreement with the experimental results.关键词
