Ventilation performance of a solar chimney under the coupling action of indoor heat source and solar radiation

Abstract
In view of the coupling action of solar radiation and indoor heat source for solar energy chimney, the effects of the solar radiation (I), heat flux of the indoor heat source (w), the equivalent area of the indoor heat source (s) and the height of the solar chimney import upon ground (h) on the ventilation performance of the solar chimney were studied by three-dimensional numerical simulation. The results show that under the same structural parameters of the solar chimney, the coupling effect of indoor heat source and solar radiation of the solar chimney on ventilation rate is mutual promotion;With the increase of the height of solar chimney import upon ground (h), ventilation rate increase continuously, and the amplitude increases with the increase of heat flux of the indoor heat source, decreases with increasing the intensity of solar radiation;At the same conditions, the solar chimney ventilation rate increases with the increase of equivalent heat source area.关键词
