Shanghai 2040 Master Plan: Innovation and Expectation
摘要
Abstract
As the firstly launched planning project after China's Central Urban Work Conference in 2015, Shanghai' new Master Plan makes many achievements regarding the paradigm, theory as well as the procedure of urban planning. Excellent Global City, as the newest vision of Shanghai, has been well-echoed by mass. It is even more noticeable that Shanghai enriches the theory of Global City by disclosing the innovation face of Global City. Certainly in line with the most advanced understandings of urban development, Shanghai's new Master Plan still leaves unsolved issues, to which this paper points out 10 concerns from the perspectives of city function, innovation, ecology, humanity and space.关键词
