Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of TCM Xuebijing injection on the inflammaroty response in rats with sepsis.Methods One hundred male Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group,sham operation group,CLP group,and Xeubijing group with 25 rats in each group.Sepsis was induced with cecum ligation and puncture (CLP) in rats of CLP and Xeubijing groups.Xeubijing (Tianjin Chase Sun Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.) was injected through venae dorsales penis with a dosage of 4ml/kg at 2,12,24,36,48,60h after surgery in Xeubijing group,while normal saline was injected in rats of other groups.The lungs were harvested at 6,12,24,48,72h after the final injection.The wet to dry weight ratio (W/D) of the lung was measured.The contents of IL-17 in lung tissue homogenate supernatant were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results The W/D of lung and the concentrations of IL-17 in lung tissue supernatants of CLP group were rising 6h after operation,peaked at 12h and maintained at a high level during 12 to 72h (P<0.05).The IL-17 concentrations in Xuebijing group were significantly lower than those in CLP group at all time points (P<0.05).Conclusion TCM Xuebijing injection can reduce IL-17 contents in lung tissue and alliviate the inflammatoty response in rats with sepsis.关键词
