Influences of diisobutyl phthalate dosage on the performances of catalysts with a novel support for propylene polymerization

摘要

Abstract

A novel support was prepared from stearyl alcohol and 2,2-dimethoxypropane through the chemical reaction between epichlorohydrin and the adduct of magnesium dichloride and alcohol.Then several catalysts were prepared with different dosage of diisobutyl phthalate(DIBP) as the internal electron donor.The effects of the DIBP dosage on the chemical composition and catalytic performances of the catalysts were investigated by means of FTIR,XRD and XPS.The results showed that the contents of both the internal electron donor and Ti in the catalysts were influenced by the DIBP dosage.With increasing the DIBP dosage,the Ti content firstly dropped from 7.4%(w) to the lowest point(3.8%(w)) and then slightly increased.The performances of the catalysts in propylene polymerization were also influenced by the DIBP dosage and the highest activity was achieved when the DIBP dosage was 5.2 mmol.In addition,the degree of crystallinity of the catalysts increased with increasing the DIBP dosage.
