Abstract
Dimethyl adipate was synthesized from adipic acid and methanol through self-catalyzed pre-esterification and then continuous catalytic distillation.The effects of reaction temperature,reaction time and alcohol-acid molar ratio on the esterification were investigated.It was showed that,under the optimal pre-esterification conditions of alcohol-acid molar ratio of 3,reaction temperature of 140 ℃,saturated vapor pressure and reaction time of 60 min,the conversion of adipic acid reached 95.6%.It was also indicated that,under the optimal process conditions for the continuous esterification of reaction temperature of 95 ℃,alcohol-acid molar ratio of 15,adipic acid LHSV of 0.7 h-1 and reaction time 2 000 h,the conversion of adipic acid and the selectivity to dimethyl adipate reached 99.76% and 99.99%,respectively.关键词
