Abstract
A process flow for the viscosity reduction of quenching oil of an ethylene plant through solvent extraction was established by means of the VMGSim process simulation software.The process simulation was conducted under the conditions of subcritical n-butane as the solvent,the solvent ratio in the range of 1 to 6,the extracting pressure in the range of 3 to 6 MPa and the extraction temperature in the range of 120 to 150 ℃.The experimental results showed that,the viscosity of the quenching oil reduced from 968 mPa · s(50 ℃) to below 16.4 mPa · s(50 ℃).The extraction rate,extract viscosity of and asphalt content in raffinate increased with increasing the solvent ratio and extraction pressure,and decreased with the extraction temperature rise.The solvent recovery and energy consumption increased with the recovery temperature rise,and decreased with increasing the recovery pressure.关键词
