Synthesis and methane adsorption performance of metal organic framework HKUST-1

Abstract
Metal organic framework HKUST-1 was prepared by solvent thermal method.The structural properties of HKUST-1 were characterized by XRD,SEM and TG,then six consecutive repeated adsorption isotherms with CH4 on HKUST-1 were tested on the same sample,and the pore structure parameters of HKUST-1 before and after CH4 adsorption were also studied.The results inicate that HKUST-1 has high degree of crystallinity and its crystal structure is stable up to 310 ℃.They also show astepwise deterioration of the HKUST-1 after successive CH4 adsorption,the specific surface area and pore volume are reduced from 1 640 m2/g and 0.69 cm3/g to 789 m2/g and 0.40 cm3/g,respectively.CH4 adsorption capacities are decreased from 220 cm3/g to 177 cr3/g at 3.5 MPa and 298 K.关键词
