抚育对黄土高原人工油松林林下植被的影响
Effects of Tending on Undergrowth Vegetation of Artificial Pinus tabuliformis Forests on the Loess Plateau

Abstract
In March 2015, the artificial Pinus tabuliformis forest in Qingshuigou conservation area was tended by the Xunyi County Forestry Bureau. The main measure was sanitation cutting. To study the short-term impact of tending measures on the growth status of the understory vegetation of the artificial P. tabuliformis forest, we studied the tending and non-tending areas of a 45-year-old artificial P. tabuliformis forest on Loess Plateau. Changes on vegetation structure, species diversity and biomass of understory plants was detected on tended areas. This study aimed to provide theoretical basis for the scientific tending of P. tabuliformis plantation on Loess Plateau and to provide empirical data for studies of long-term dynamic. The results showed that the total number of plant species were 59 and 49 in tending and non-tending areas respectively. The value of Simpson index, Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou index of shrubs were 0.7860, 2.0696, 0.7344 and 0.7779, 2.0286, 0.7123 in the tending and non-tending areas respectively. They were not significantly different with each other (P>0.05). The value of Simpson index, Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou index of herbs in the tending and non-tending areas were 0.7136, 1.5434, 0.7558 and 0.6606, 1.3287, 0.8053. The Shannon-Wiener index of the herb layer was significantly different (P<0.05). The coverage of shrub layer decreased from 74.16% to 22.8%, and the coverage of herb layer increased from 12.11% to 33.8% after tending. The density of herb layer increased from 57125 plant?hm-2 to 155595 plant?hm-2 and the density of shrub layer decreased from 13620 plant?hm-2 to 12780 plant?hm-2. The biomass of shrub layer was reduced from 1377.62 kg?hm-2 to 324.87 kg?hm-2 and the biomass of herb layer increased from 138.87 kg?hm-2 to 371.69 kg?hm-2. The allocation of biomass in different species and organs in undergrowth were significantly changed by tending measures. The proportion of biomass contribution of heliophytes and hygrophytes increased after tending. The belowground and aboveground mass ratio of the shrub layer significantly increased from 0.86 to 1.62 while that of the herb layer decreased from 1.43 to 0.92 after tending. In sum, artificial tending measures reduced the biomass, coverage and density of shrubs, however, it increased the species diversity of shrubs and the species diversity, biomass, coverage and density of herbs. The results indicate that tending measures may have a significant impact on herbs and little impact on shrubs on a short time scale.关键词
