乌鲁木齐市中老年人肥胖与牙周炎相关性研究
Correlation between obesity and periodontitis in middle-aged and elderly population in Urumqi

Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between obesity and periodontitis in middle aged and old population.Methods The study sample included 381 middle-aged and elderly people from the Physical Examination Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University;questionnaire survey,general physical examination and oral cavity examination were conducted in them;record the calculus index (CI),bleeding on probing (BOP),periodontal pocket probing depth (PD),clinical attachment loss (CAL),body mass index (BMI) and level of four items of blood lipid tests.Results The triglyeride level was significantly higher in the obese group (P ＜ 0.05),and the high-density lipoprotein cholesterol level was significantly lower in the obese group (P ＜ 0.05),as compared with normal group.Analysis results showed that BMI was a risk factor for periodontitis (OR ＞ 1,P ＜ 0.05),but there was no obvious correlation between them(P ＞ 0.05).Calculus index,bleeding on probing and clinical attachment loss were positively correlated with BMI in middle-aged (P ＜ 0.05).There was no correlation between BMI and periodontal pocket probing depth or attachment loss (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Obesity is a risk factor for periodontitis in middle-aged and elderly people,but the correlation between them is still uncertain.关键词
