Abstract
Objective To investigate the characteristics and surgical methods of Helveston syndrome.Methods 29 cases of Helveston syndrome were studied.Post-operative eye positions, A-pattern,DVD,function of superior oblique and binocular visual function were examined and analyzed.Results For 29 cases, post-operative orthotorpi were 28 cases (96.6％).A-pattern were corrected in 26 cases(89.7％) and A-pattern from 14.24△±5.13△ reduced to 5.21△±4.32△.Post-operative vertical deviation in primary position average from 11.87△±5.37△reduced to 5.11△±1.78△. There were significant differences,P<0.05.8 cases have binocular vision and 3 cases stereopsis post-operative.Conclusions Correcting Helveston syndrome include A-pattern, superior oblique over function and DVD achieved good effect by one surgery.关键词
