Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of preventive acupuncture treatment on bone metabolism and VitD level in menopausal women.Methods:65 cases of postmenopausal osteoporosis patients were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group.32 patients in the control group were treated with Oyster Shell Calcium tablets once a day, one tablet each time;33 cases in the experimental group were treated with acupuncture besides the tablets.The total course of treatment lasted for three months.By comparing the changes of bone mineral density and serum VitD level before and after treatment as well as the therapeutic effect, it aimed to explore the effect of preventive acupuncture treatment on bone metabolism and VitD level in menopausal women.Results:The two groups had no statistically significant differences in the levels of bone mineral density before treatment(P>0.05), but the bone mineral density levels in the two groups were significantly improved after treatment(P<0.05).Meanwhile, the bone mineral density of patients in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups according to patients' serum VitD levels before treatment (P>0.05), but the serum VitD levels of the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment (P<0.05).Meanwhile, the serum level of VitD of patients in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).After the treatment for three months,the total effective rate was 68.75% in the control group and the total effective rate was 90.90% in the experimental group.The total effective rate of experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The preventive acupuncture treatment can better adjust the bone metabolism and VitD levels of menopausal women, and it can promote the recovery of the menopausal osteoporosis patients.关键词
