督脉经埋线治疗胃食管反流病的临床观察
Clinical Observation of Gastro-esophageal Reflux Treated by Catgut-embedding underneath the Acupoints of Governor Vessel

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the method of catgut-embedding in Governor Vessel for gastro-esophageal reflux disease(GERD).Methods:A total of 60 patients with GERD were randomly divided into the catgut-embedding therapy group and the western medicine group,with 30 cases in each group.In the catgut-embedding group,the embedding therapy was applied to spinous processes from T3 to T9 of Governor Vessel,once every two weeks for six weeks.The western medicine group was given Rabeprazole(20mg/time) once a day for six weeks.The curative effects were assessed by Reflux Disease Questionnaire(RDQ) and scores of GERD symptoms.Results:Scores of both RDQ and GERD symptoms were significantly decreased in the two groups after treatment compared to those before treatment(P<0.05);the total effective rate of the catgut-embedding group was 86.67%,which was higher than 63.33% of the western medicine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The markedly effective rate was 40% in the catgut-embedding group,which was significantly higher than 20% in the western medicine group,with a significant difference(P<0.05);The catgut-embedding group was superior to the western medicine group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The method of catgut-embedding in Governor Vessel can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of GERD,which is worthy of promotion.关键词
