Abstract

TThe aim of this paper is to propose a parametric daylighting simulation workflow and model to improve the accuracy and efficiency of daylighting simulation for office building in severe cold region, which were applied to simulate daylighting performance for an office building.The regression fitting and error analysis over the simulated and measured values were used to validate the application effects of this simulation workflow and model.The results showed that the parametric daylighting simulation method realized the adaptive connection between geometry and material information, and data interaction between modeling tools and simulation tools, which improved the modeling efficiency of daylighting simulation.Besides, under the CIE overcast sky, the correlation coefficient between simulated and measured data is 97.4%, the determination coefficient is 94.9%, and the root mean square error is 119.8 with the corrected Perez sky.Under the CIE clear sky, the correlation coefficient between simulated and measured data is 95.9%, the determination coefficient is 91.9%, and the root mean square error is 110.9 with the corrected Perez sky which demonstrates that the parametric simulation workflow and model can be used to simulate daylighting performance accurately.
